Galápagos Islands Small Ship Expedition

Only a select few experiential travel programs in the world can match the personal enrichment provided on a National Geographic ship with Lindblad Expeditions.  The perfect setting for small groups and retreats, these expeditions offers a wonderful balance of business and learning with first-class hospitality and extraordinary wildlife encounters.  Explore the enchanted islands of Galápagos, a region teeming with unusual and remarkable wildlife. Swim and snorkel with playful sea lions, walk among seemingly ancient giant tortoises and watch as blue-footed boobies perform courtship dances.

Share life experiences with your top performers, colleagues, and business partners as special permits allow us to head out in kayaks to explore further.  A team of seasoned Naturalists utilize underwater video, a Splash-Cam and video microscopes to provide the richest possible understanding of the abundant wildlife. Walk the island’s sandy shoreline looking for land iguanas, sea lions, and unusual bird. This is an enchanting landscape where lava, mangroves and golden sand converge. Great walks and views abound, with a chance to snorkel with Galápagos penguins.

After an invigorating morning with the world’s foremost naturalists and explorers discussing the relationship between your current business challenges and the environment around you, head out into the field for personal growth and exploration. Learn about vital preservation work being done at the Charles Darwin Research Station. Then, head up into the highlands to roam the moss draped landscape where wild giant tortoises forage. Since 1997, Lindblad Expeditions has worked with its guests to raise funds for local conservation projects. As of December 2008, more than $4.5 million has been raised for projects such as fostering the restoration of native plants throughout the islands and tracking giant tortoises.
