Guatemala & Belize Jungle to Beach Exploration

Guatemala and Belize provide the perfect balance of Culture, Nature, History, and Adventure.  Located in Central America just below south-east Mexico, these destinations share a common border and offer ease of access between countries.  Guatemala and Belize offer a tropical and exotic experience that may be combined, or presented independently, each offering fantastic value and wonderful activities.

Belize is the only official English-speaking country in Central America. It was a British colony for more than a century and was known as British Honduras until 1973 when they gained independence.  Belize is a very small country yet it offers visitors a huge variety of destinations, attractions, and full service lodging experiences. There are large areas of protected rainforest and pine forest with fantastic wildlife, it boasts the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world with spectacular snorkeling and diving, it has islands and white sand beaches, and Mayan Ruins, all within a short distance offering the ability to combine many great experiences in a brief time frame.

Guatemala has a diverse geography including 33 volcanoes, highland areas, cloud forest, rainforest and even desert.  The country offers visitors a unique cultural experience as well as access to some stunning scenery and the world’s most important Maya archaeology sites. Guatemala has a unique culture with a large indigenous Maya population still living much as they have for hundreds of years and every village has its own distinctive textile using colors and symbols particular to their region.  The main tourist areas centre around the Spanish colonial town of Antigua, Lake Atitlan, the market town of Chichicastenango and the rainforest area surrounding the town of Flores and the famous Maya Site of Tikal.

All these elements help to make Guatemala and Belize a different and colorful destination for participants with a wide variety of interests to enjoy. Often overlooked because of people’s perception that they are only diving and textile destinations, Belize and Guatemala in actual fact have many, many attributes beneficial for meetings and incentives.
